Gulmarg, known as Gulmarag in Kashmiri, is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, India.
Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. Southeast, Tulian Lake is flanked by mountain peaks and often frozen.
Sonamarg or Sonmarg, known as Sonamarag in Kashmiri, is a hill station located in the Ganderbal District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located about 80 kilometres northeast of the capital city, Srinagar.

Arrival in Srinagar
Welcome to the Srinagar, The Lake City. It will be our pleasure to be your host on your trip to Srinagar. With your arrival at Srinagar Airport, We will take you to houseboat. After lunch you can enjoy a romantic ‘shikara ride on the pristine waters of Dal Lake. You will stay overnight in the houseboat/Hotel.
Srinagar – Gulmarg
In the morning we will start for Gulmarg-the Meadow of Flowers, which is situated at an altitude of 2730 mts. above the sea level. It will take 2 hrs to reach Gulmarg, which is 60 kms far from Srinagar. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. You can also enjoy the view of Nanga Parbhat, if the weather permits. Explore Gulmarg. You can also enjoy a short trek upto Khilangmarg. The trek can be covered by Chair Lifts or Gondola (at your own expenses). Stay overnight in the hotel in Gulmarg.
Gulmarg – Pahalgam
You will leave Gulmarg after having breakfast and drive to Pahalgam or the Valley of Shepherds via Srinagar. Drive through the eye-catching Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins, an 1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. You will be transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the local sight seeing in pahalgam, stay overnight in the hotel at Pahalgam.
In Pahalgam
In the south-east of Srinagar situated at an altitude of 2130 mts. above sea level. It is Kashmir’s most popular resort surrounded by high mountains , dense forests, high mountain altitude lakes ; it also offers 9 hole golf course, Skiing, pony trails, Angling (rainbow & brown trout’s), horse ridding, trekking (both hard & soft) & various places of interest in & around like Aru valley, Lidderwat valley, Kolhai Glacier, Shesh Nag, Chandanwari (route to Amarnath ji Holy cave), Baisam & Mamil famous for 9th century old (Shiva Temple). Pahalgam-Srinagar Local Sight Seeing
Today after having breakfast we drive to Srinagar to visit the famous Mughal gardens in Srinagar which are Nishat Bagh (the garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (abode of love). These gardens are situated on the banks of Dal lake. Nishat Bagh is the larger of the two gardens and has an impressive plantation of Chinar trees on its highest terrace. Both the gardens are built on a symmetrical plan of central waterways with fountains dividing a series of gardened terraces. Night halt at Hotel in Srinagar.
Srinagar-Sonamarg
Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque ‘meadow of gold’ Sonomarg. The fast flowing Sindh river makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (at your own expenses). You will return to the hotel in Srinagar in the evening and enjoy a comfortable night.
